Terms of use
Last updated: 2026-06-12
These terms govern your use of Machinery Regulation 2027 Check (https://machinery.sellerguardrails.com), a free informational compliance-orientation tool. There are no user accounts, no registration, no subscriptions on this site.
Nature of the service
The site helps you determine, before the 20 January 2027 cutover, whether your equipment falls under Directive 2006/42/EC or Regulation (EU) 2023/1230, which conformity assessment route applies, which economic-operator role is effective, the technical-documentation retention period, and the document checklist — with reference to Regulation (EU) 2023/1230 (Articles 3, 10, 18, 25, 53 and Annex I) and Directive 2006/42/EC (Annex IV). Every output is an orientation aid, not a binding ruling. It does not perform conformity assessment, does not issue declarations of conformity, and does not constitute legal, safety-engineering or notified-body advice. Final classification depends on case-specific facts and, where required, the assessment of a notified body. For decisions with legal or financial consequences, consult a qualified adviser.
Acceptable use
You agree to use the site lawfully, not to disrupt or reverse engineer its operation, and not to misrepresent its outputs as official conformity determinations or notified-body certificates.
Our content
The texts, decision logic, datasets and design are owned by the site operator (identified in the legal notice) unless otherwise attributed. You may quote short excerpts with attribution; commercial redistribution requires prior permission.
Third-party references
The site cites third-party sources (the European Commission, EU regulations and directives, and harmonised-standards references) for reference. We are not responsible for the availability or continued accuracy of external resources.
No warranty and liability
The site is provided "as is", free of charge. Datasets may become outdated; the "verified" date shown on each result reflects the last review. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the operator accepts no liability for decisions made on the basis of the outputs produced — including conformity-assessment routes selected, documentation prepared, or placing-on-the-market decisions.
Changes
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance. The "Last updated" date above reflects the current version.
